The Lawn Maintenance & Facilities Assistant supports the upkeep, maintenance, and beautification of Kinston Teens-owned properties and other community spaces maintained by the organization. This position works closely with the Facilities & Equipment Manager to ensure that grounds, gardens, and facilities remain safe, clean, attractive, and welcoming for youth, residents, staff, and visitors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in landscaping, facilities maintenance, community development, environmental stewardship, or hands-on outdoor work.
This is a seasonal, part-time position running from approximately June 15 through September 15, with an expected schedule of 10 to 20 hours per week at $15 per hour. Young adults ages 16 to 24 years old are strongly encouraged to apply. Previous work experience is helpful, but not required. We are looking for dependable individuals who are willing to work hard, learn new skills, take pride in their community, and work well as part of a team.
